The National Q Mark Awards | Friday September 29th | Clayton Hotel, Dublin 4

Its official! St Doolagh’s Park Care and Rehabilitation Centre in Dublin has won a National Q Mark Award for Nursing Homes.  Their nomination put them in the top 6.75% of all audits completed by the EIQA on the island of Ireland and this win means they are at the very top of the Q for highest standards of Quality and Excellence.

“Winning the Q Mark award is fantastic, it is real recognition for our staff of the work they put in to make St Doolagh’s Park an accepting, person centred environment where people can continue their rehabilitation or have an excellent quality of life in the long-term care programme. The residents will be delighted, as they love to celebrate our successes with us; after all, they also input into the services that we provide in their feedback and suggestions” said Sheila Hennessy, Director of Nursing.

Known as The Oscars of Business Excellence, The Q Mark Award is the highest accolade an Irish business can achieve, given both the intense competition and the exacting standards required. Speaking at this year’s awards Irene Collins, Managing Director of EIQA said “The residents of St. Doolaghs Park Care and Rehabilitation Centre will be delighted to hear of this fantastic win as they have a direct input into the services provided. With every one of the 115 strong team clearly demonstrating responsibility for care standards it is no surprise that Sharon and the team are proud winners of this Q Mark Award!”
