St. Patrick's is a separate unit on the first floor of St Doolaghs that provides specialist care for adults with acquired brain injury (ABI) and other neurological conditions, once they are discharged from hospital, medically stable and require long-term care and / or secondary rehabilitation. Many such individuals continue to experience physical, cognitive, emotional and social interpersonal difficulties and find it hard to identify skilled personnel who can help them with the next step in moving forward.
Our multi-disciplinary team devises an individual care and rehabilitation plan with each resident as appropriate to ensure the achievement of both the highest level of care and personal outcome measures.  The team includes a Neuro-Psychologist, Behavioural Specialists, a Physiotherapist, a G.P.,  and Registered General and Psychiatric Nurses.
