ST. DOOLAGH’S PARK C&RC AWARDED CARF ACCREDITATION

St Doolagh’s Park C&RC has awarded accreditation by CARF Europe for its Residential Rehabilitation Brain Injury Speciality Programme and Person Centred Long Term Care Community.

St Doolagh’s Park C&RC specialises in providing medium and long-term care and rehabilitation for Residents with an Acquired Brain Injury.   St. Doolagh’s is part of the Trinity Care Group and is regulated under HIQA.  CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) is a worldwide independent, non-profit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centres on enhancing the lives of the persons served.

By pursuing and achieving accreditation, St Doolagh’s Park Care and Rehabilitation Centre has demonstrated that it meets international standards for quality and is committed to pursuing excellence. The accreditation decision of three years represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and demonstrates that St Doolagh’s Park has substantial conformance to the CARF standards.

An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.  The only other organisations in Ireland that have CARF accreditation are the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dublin and ABI Ireland.  This is a great achievement for all the team at St. Doolaghs.
