Our Care Services

Yvonne

Family of Anovocare Resident

Words cannot cover what the staff at Anovacare have done for my late father and my family. After a year of other nursing homes and hospitals Anovacare took my Dad into their work family and returned to him his dignity and sense of safety. The genuine love and respect my Dad received from the entire team is a testament to the dedication of these truly wonderful people. I am forever in their depth. My grandbabies danced and sang through the corridors and they were welcomed and loved by staff and residents alike. They made our last few months with my Dad truly joyful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart

Activites Programmes

We have a packed weekly activities programme that we base around the interests and preferences of our residents in each home. From bingo and cards to zumba and live music there is something for everyone.

Our Nursing Homes in Ireland

Ireland has a rapidly ageing population as a result of people living healthier and thus longer lives. In fact in 20 years’ time, one in every 5 people walking down Grafton street will be over 65, which is a rise from 12% to 22% of Ireland’s population being over 65.

These changes have a significant impact on Nursing Homes in Ireland as nursing homes play an important role in ensuring that elderly people are being provided with the appropriate care. This also positively impacts Nursing homes in Ireland’s employment opportunities, particularly for nurses who moving overseas for work.

Currently there are over 400 private and voluntary nursing homes in Ireland, who cater to over 20,000 people. Nursing homes in Ireland are registered and inspected by the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) to ensure that all nursing homes in Ireland are providing the highest quality of care and services.

This high quality of care does not just refer to ensuring guests have good living conditions but also to ensuring that a people centred approach which means focusing on each person’s personality and interests rather than their illness or the abilities they may have lost.

As nursing homes in Ireland steadily increase in demand, it becomes more and more important that the standard of care continuously improves to not just facilitate resident’s basic physical needs but also their emotional, spiritual and social needs.
