St. Peter’s Nursing Home in Castlebellingham will host an International Food Day celebration on Wednesday afternoon, May 17th to welcome friends, and family, into the beautiful courtyard on the grounds of St. Peter’s and sample a variety of food from different nationalities. The event will be held between 1.30 pm – 3.30 pm, and there will be facepainting and an Indian Entertainment group.

Noirin Mc Kinney, the Director of Nursing at St. Peter’s, said “Friends and family are welcome to join us for two hours of fun with our wonderful residents, and the local school will be joining us too. We are focused on enhancing the quality of life of all our residents and offer a variety of enjoyable activities on a weekly basis, this event will give a positive boost to the week, and it’s an opportunity to sample international food and to thank the staff of St. Peter’s who work so hard every day to deliver our commitment of a total caring concept.”

St. Peter’s Nursing Home is part of the Trinity Care Group and has served the local community for over 21 years. An extension was recently added to the purpose-built state-of-the-art facility and a refurbishment of the entire building. The nursing home has earned an excellent reputation locally and was awarded a Q Mark in 2019 and a 2022 certificate of excellence from the Food Safety awards
