2014 Excellence Ireland Q Mark Awards
We are delighted to announce that both Gormanston Wood Nursing Home and Suncroft Lodge Nursing Home have been shortlisted for the Q Mark Irish Nursing Home of the Year 2014. The Awards ceremony will be held at the end of September and fingers crossed either Gormanston Wood or Suncroft Lodge can win.
2013 NHI Care Awards
We are delighted to announce that Trinity Care has had two staff members nominated for awards at the upcoming Nursing Homes Ireland (NHI) Care Awards.
St. Peter's NH - Mairead McGuinness has been nominated as NHI Registered Nurse of The Year Award. Mairead is the Clinical Nurse Manager at St. Peters and a key member of the management team.
Suncroft Lodge - Antoinette Kane has been nominated as NHI Ancillary Worker Award. Antoinette runs our laundry service at Suncroft and is an indispensible member of our team.
Update: Mairead McGuiness was awarded Irish Registered Nurse of the Year Award at the recent NHI Awards. Congrats to Mairead and all the team.
2011 National Award
We are delighted to announce thet Gormanston Wood Nursing Home was awarded the Excellence Ireland Q Mark Irish Nursing Home of the Year Award 2011 at an awards ceremony at the Burlington Hotel on October 14th last. This is a tremendous achievement for the staff of Gormanston Wood.
The Excellence Ireland Q Mark Award for Nursing Homes is an independent quality accreditation based on stringent care, quality and hygiene standards. Director of Nursing Bridget Brassey was delighted that Gormanston Wood received this prestigious national award and thanked her team for their hard work and dedication in providing such high quality person centred care standards for their residents.

2010 National Award
We are delighted to announce that St. Peter's Nursing Home was awarded the Excellence Ireland Q Mark Irish Nursing Home of the Year 2010 at an awards ceremony at the Burlington hotel on September 24th last. St. Peter's is the first Louth home to win this pretigious award.

This follows on from Suncroft Lodge Nursing Home winning the award in 2009.
Both St. Peter's Nursing Home and Suncroft Lodge were two of five nursing homes that were short-listed for the Irish Nursing Home of the Year Award 2010.
2009 National Award
We are delighted to announce that Suncroft Lodge Nursing Home has been awarded the Excellence Ireland Q Mark Award for Irish Nursing Home of the Year 2009. At an awards ceremony on October 30th last at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin, the national award was presented by Minister Mary Hanifin T.D., Minister for Social & Family Affairs, to Glenda Panes, Director of Nursing and her team. Suncroft Lodge Nursing Home is the first Kildare nursing home to win this prestigious national award.
